TwoSmiles by HP offers customers a unique way to unite greeting cards and gift cards to create a memorable and personable giving experience for any occasion.

This was by far one of my favorite projects while working at HP.

My role was to come up with the concepts, hand drawn sketches presented to the creative committee, and lastly, execute the final illustration and submit it to the final production team to enhance customer experience.

Each and every “Thank you” card was geared towards a particular occasion, for example office “Thank you” cards, baby shower “Thank you cards”, and generic “Thank you cards”.

I have used a variety of illustration techniques, incorporating hand drawing, photoshop textures, etc.

This storyboard was a result of collaboration with GXD User Experience designer creating a design proposal of how to improve customer user experience by using HP EPrint Website.

Website’s Purpose and Objective was to

1. Boost Awareness of HP’s Mobility Solutions.

2. Educate the user of the simplicity of the experience.

3. Guide the customer to the best and easiest way to print from their Mobile Device.

While working at Binary Labs, I had to illustrate a series of characters for interactive, educational activities for elementary school students.

The sketches were used later on for creating lead characters in the “Know it all” software game.

While working at Binary Labs, I was the lead visual designer and a project lead for “I Can Play Guitar” and “I Can Play Piano”, interactive software games by Mattel.

“I Can Play Guitar” and “I Can Play Piano” is the new learning system that can make learning to play the guitar and piano as easy and fun as playing a game! This is a hardware software system that plugs into the TV. The software is designed to have the look and feel of a real video game.

I worked in the team of talented interactive designers, copywriters, and instructional designers to create kid friendly illustrations and animations.

For some of the game cartridges in “I Can Play Piano”, we had to incorporate famous cartoon characters for the kids. In “I Can Play Guitar”, I had to create the characters from scratch.

Client: Salt Lake City Russian community event

I was approached by Russian community in Salt Lake City UT, to illustrate Russian folk fairy tale characters to be used in the promotional materials. The “Santa” illustration is for Russian “Ded Moroz”.

Client: Valley View Casino

While working as a Sr. Graphic Designer at Valley View Casino, I was tasked with a challenge to design promotional collateral materials and illustrations of the future VVC Art and Wine Festival. To advertise the event the illustrations were printed in the San Diego Reader magazine along with the short article about the upcoming event. Additionally, I had to design event logo, posters, flyers, post cards and T-Shirts.

While working with a book publisher, I had to create a hand drawn ink illustration for “Treasure Island” book cover. The design was etched in gold on the blue book cover.

I have always loved costume design, and when the opportunity presented itself I became a member of one of the Salt Lake City Utah School theater groups. I had to use my drawing skills to come up with costume design sketches for several theatrical performances.
