Client: Dmitry Chetverukhin Photo Studio

Task: Creating new branding materials for Dmitry’s Photo Studio. The items included: catalogue of photo works, postcards, logo, business cards, envelopes and letterheads.

Product: As a high-end, professional photographer, Dmitry had requested to preserve his brand in the advertising materials. To achieve a clean and elegant look, I used white space, contrasting typography style, and a grey/black color palette.

It is always a challenge for a graphic designer to come up with personal branding.

After many iterations of the logo, this is the final version that I created.

I incorporated several of my favorite design techniques, like using negative space to show the letter S, which is the first letter of my last name, and at the same time to show the infinite process of graphic design.

My intention was to have the image to be legible and recognizable.

This logo is to be used in brand materials, websites, resumes, email advertisements, and social media.

Client: UCSD, Eleanor Roosevelt College 

Task: I was approached by UCSD, Eleanor Roosevelt College, to design a logo for their new “Making of the Modern World Minor”.

Product: To create the logo, I incorporated colors of different cultures in the global concept of the modern world. The logo was to be used for all branding materials, which included business cards, stationary, newsletters, posters, fliers, and web.

Software: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop

Client: UCSD, Eleanor Roosevelt College 

Task: I was approached by UCSD’s Eleanor Roosevelt College, to design a logo for their new “Global Health Minor”.

Product: For the design, I chose to incorporate the symbol of the world, and the colors of the medical field, with simple and legible typography. Brand collateral items included a website, business cards, stationary, newsletters, posters, folders, envelopes, drinking cups, planners, and pins.

Client: Valley View Casino 

Task: Logo design for recycling campaign at Valley View Casino. The company’s goal was to improve on environmentally friendly experiences for the customers and the employees.  

Product: I was tasked to design the company wide “Recycle Make a Difference” campaign, which included logo design, table tent display cards, posters, banners, and web banners.

Software: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign

Client: Business Optimum Financial Services

Task: I was approached by Igor Slutskiy, CEO? of Business Optimum, LLC, to design a branding campaign for their new start-up company, which performed business optimization solutions for various clients.

Product: The challenge was to show effectiveness and efficiency in a bold and simple way, so the solution was to have the letter E squared, to communicate that concept, using bright red to emphasize the importance of the message. The logo was used in various brand collateral such as business cards, stationary, web banners, and email advertisements.

Software: Adobe Illustrator

Client: Viva Learning Interactive web-based training 

Task: I was approached by the CEO of Viva Learning, an e-learning training business. I had to create a logo to design their emphasis on learning, showing the path to learning and the final target result.

Product: The logo was used in various brand collateral such as business cards, stationary, web banners, and email advertisements.

Client: Valley View Casino 

Task: During the global redesign of the casino, I was asked to design a new sign for “The Main Stage Bar”.

Product: I incorporated the readability, simplicity, with the fun elements of the bar, including music, a martini glass, and the bubbles to give the logo a livelier look.

The logo was made into a large, lit up sign, located at the top of the main bar in the casino. Branding materials included: t-shirts, menus, coasters, and printed on drink glasses.

Client: Valley View Casino

Task: During the global redesign of the casino, I was asked to design a new sign for “The VIP Lounge”.

Product: I incorporated the refined, classy look and feel, combining elegant typography and color combinations.

The logo was made into a large, lit up sign, located at the top of the entrance to the VIP Lounge in the Casino. Branding items included: fliers, posters, post cars, and web advertisements.
